1. Install The Microsoft Authenticator App

On your android phone, or iPhone downloads the Microsoft Authenticator app. This app is free to download!

2. Open Pterodactyl Panel

From our website http://cubehostingmc.com, click Cpanel login to get to the login page. Log in with your email that you provided us, and password you selected during registration. If you just purchased your first server with us, use this tutorial to learn how to set up your pterodactyl account. Once you have logged in to your control panel, you will see a list of your servers like this:

3. Click Security Controls

From the menu on the left, click Security Controls. This will bring you to a page with two features. On this page, you can view all currently activated sessions that are logged in to your account, with their associated IP addresses. You can log out anyone who you believe shouldn't be logged in! On this page, you also have the option to activate two-factor authentication. This is what the page looks like:

4. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Click the large green enable button on the right panel. This will open a popup with a QR code, that you must scan with the phone that has the Microsoft Authenticator app installed on it. Once you scan the QR code, you should be taken to the application and Cube Hosting should appear with a code beneath it. Whenever you need to get a code, simply open this application and view the code in the app. To continue with the enabling process, enter the current code into the popup where it says Authentication Token. Be fast, as these codes only last for 30 seconds! This is what the popup looks like:

Once you click submit, you will be provided with a success message if the enabling was successful.

5. Login

You may now log in to your account using 2fa. The same login form should be used as before, however, before you are successfully logged in and presented with your server list, you will have to go through one more additional login screen. This screen is where you will need to enter the authentication token from the app. To do this, open the app and copy the token into the field. Make sure to be fast, as the code only will last for 30 seconds!
